Badminton World Federation Latest Ranking - Chin Eei Hui / Wong Pei Tty rise up to No. 1
Badminton World Federation had just released the latest world ranking stats. Compare to the previous ranking, there are changes only in the women doubles.
On men singles, Malaysia Lee Chong Wei still sits on the top rank. China Lin Dan remain on rank 2, Chen Jin is on rank 3. And there's quite a distance between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan ranking points.
Denmark Peter Gade on rank 4, and is 1000 ranking points behind Chen Jin. Indonesia Sony, and India Open Winner Taufik stand on rank 5 and 6. Previous rank 14 Bao Chun Lai, rise up to rank 12. But due to his injury, he might be absent in the following tournaments. This will affect his ranking.
Women singles, Denmark Rasmussen still rank No. 1. Zhou Mi remains the No.2. Winner of India Open Pi Hongyan has just taken over china Lu Lan place to rank No. 3. China Lu Lan drops to rank No. 4. Wang Lin and Xie Xin Fang remain on their previous rank. Yet Zhu Lin drop down from rank 8 to rank 9.
The top three ranks haven't change in Men Doubles. Malaysia Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong rise a rank to No. 4. Korea team Jung Jae Sung / Lee Yong Dae drop to rank No. 5. China Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng still remains on rank 7. The winner from India Open Lee Wan Wah / Choong Tan Took rise from rank 15 to rank 9.
There is however big changes in women doubles. Malaysia Wong Pei Tty / Chin Eei Hui rise up to rank No. 1. Also, China Cheng Shu / Zhao Yunlei rise 1 step to rank 2. Taipei Cheng Wen Hsing / Chien Yu Chin drop from rank 1 to rank 3. Olympic Winner Du Jing / Yu Yang is on rank 4.
For mixed doubles, Widianto Nova / Natsir Liliyana are on top rank. On Rank 2 are Korea Lee Yong Dae / Lee Hyo Jung. China He Hanbin / Yu Yang drop to rank 3. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen drop to rank 12 from rank 10. Ma Jin and Zheng Bo up one rank to rank 17. Xu Chen and Zhao Yunlei still remain on rank 20.
