Chong Wei-Lin Dan Final

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- World badminton's archrivals Datuk Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia will meet each other in the final of the 2011 Korean Open championship tomorrow.

Chong Wei, last year's All-England champion, easily despatched off Du Pengyu of China 21-10, 21-10 in 34 minutes in today's semifinals to book his berth in the final.

In the other semifinal, Lin Dan, the Bejing Olympics men's singles gold medallist, however, had a tougher time against Simon Santoso of Indonesia but prevailed in 23-21, 20-22, 21-15.

Meanwhile, Malayia's men's doubles crack pair Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong failed to follow in Chong Wei's footsteps when they lost to Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae of South Korea in 20-22, 21-9, 21-10 in their semifinal match.
