Complete Badminton Training by Former World Champion and Legend Zhao Jianhua and Xiao Jie - Backhand, recovery after match and Injuries prevention

by Andrew Chang
(Malaysia)

Backhand - Technically it is a shot that you shouldn't play very often.

Recovery and Injury prevention

- You need to use some weights to strengthen the area. Injuries are one thing, your reaction after exercise is one thing. One way to reduce soreness is try to relax after you play.

After relaxation your body can go back to normal state and for you to continue training. Do some stretching exercises, which are good for the muscle reactions and flexibility.
