Complete Badminton Training by Former World Champion and Legend Zhao Jianhua and Xiao Jie - Doubles Rotation

by Andrew

If your return is too high and you go up, the opponent will hit you. So only move forward immediately after a high quality block, otherwise just stay on your current position.

After a good blocking shots, you move forward the opponent will be afraid to stay at the net(and he will lift the shuttle). When you see your partner moves forward, you don't need to see the incoming shot, move back, don't wait for the returning shuttle.

Naturally if your partner moves up, it'll become a front and back positioning. When the opponent lifts, the rear court is all yours to play.
