Complete Badminton Training by Former World Champion and Legend Zhao Jianhua and Xiao Jie - Frontcourt backhand push

by Andrew

The key to the backhand push at the net is that the wrist must snap quickly to generate force. The stroke swing must not be too big. Make full use of the thumb to generate force at the point of impact. During the point of contact, maintain upwards position with your racket head but don't rotate too far that your whole wrist faces upwards.
