Pushing off should come from the strength of calf and ankle. Acceleration relies on the explosiveness in pushing off against the ground. Most professional players makes a small jump to increase power when push off the ground.


Here's another useful exercise tips to improve your grip changing, the change of the forehand grip and the backhand grips. These exercises you can do it while watching tv, sitting down on the sofa and etc. Even professional players sometimes has troubles switching grips.
