Lee chong wei playing in India Open to prepare for World Championships

Although the tournament schedule is tight, Swiss Open Champion Lee Chong Wei is determined to play in India Open. If he can win the India Open, it will be the first time he takes a double championship overseas.

India Open would be held on Hyderabad, 24th-29th March. Lee Chong Wei is expected to get into the finals and play with Indonesia's Taufik.

India Open will be his last Super Series event before the World Championships. World Championship's qualification list will be release on 1st May. World rank number 1 Lee will be going to Hyderabad on August again to fight for being the first World Champion from Malaysia.

Lee won 2 championships and 2 runner-ups in 4 Super Series tournament this year (2009). It is considered as his best ever results in his career.

On Mew Choo

After 3 months of rest, Malaysia women singles, Wong Mew Choo comes back and will participate in the India Open. She appeared in Bukit Jalil Stadium, showing her perfect state by winning 8 matches. Coach Misbun is confident with her current form predicts that she would at least reach the quarter finals.
