Madras Cricket Club ,popularly known as MCC, is one of the oldest and prestigious clubs in India, with a heavy accent on sports. It is located within the famous Chepauk Cricket Stadium, which hosts national and international cricket matches.

MCC is located in the heart of the city of Chennai - formerly known as Madras - close to the Marina Beach. MCC has two excellently maintained wooden courts for badminton, which has quite a good following.More than fifty players with age span ranging from 15 to 70, are regularly playing in the morning and evening sessions put together. The players' mix boasts of former national and State level players, which contributes to the higher level of quality of the game played here.We play only with Yonex shuttles mostly.

MCC's badminton courts are available only to its members and their guests and members of other clubs having reciprocal arrangement with MCC. For those not falling under any of these categories, prior arrangement through an accredited member is necessary.
