New Delhi, March 18 - Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal on Thursday breaks into the top five of world badminton rankings. This was a new high for her following her stupendous show earlier this month in the All England Badminton Championships.

Saina's previous best was last year when she was on the sixth spot.

She became the first Indian woman to reach All England Super Series Championships semi-finals.

She lost to Netherlands' Tine Rasmussen in the semi-finals of the event.

Saina was at her best and gained a couple of spots in the latest list with 58516.7646 points.

Saina said, "I am feeling good, fresh and raring to go."

She also mentioned that this year she would be concentrating on training more and playing less tournaments so that she can maintain her fitness.

She added, "I would train more and play less this year to keep myself injury free."

Saina was born in Hisar city of Haryana and she is training under former All England champion Pullela Gopichand at his academy in Hyderabad.
